SELL OUT CROWD For Reno Rodeo Finals

Monday June 28, 2004
A sell out crowd turned out for the final round of the Reno Rodeo on Saturday. The crowd was treated to an awesome 87 point ride by Billy Etbauer on Pine Ridge (Western Rodeo).
Etbauer set a new arena record of 90 points earlier in the week (Round 1) and is roughly $2,600 away from crossing the awesome $2 million mark in earnings.

Trevor Brazile was on fire (when is he not?) and captured the Tour round and aggregate title. He won the Tour round with a blazing 9.2 seconds in the tie-down roping. He collected a payout of almost $10,000 while at Reno. I'll bet he'll take those odds over the ones offered at the awesome Casinos in Reno.

Bull rider Paulo Crimber made a smokin' 87 point ride on Mr. Hyde (Flying Five Rodeo) and treated the crowd to a high steppin' victory dance.

Last year the Reno Rodeo really set the pace for the National Finals Rodeo, with some of its top cowboys (Dan Mortensen, Trevor Brazile, etc.) taking the top prizes in Las Vegas. We'll see if the same holds true this year.

The Reno Rodeo is one of rodeos crowning achievements. If you missed the action in person (shame! shame!), don't fear, Outdoor Life Network will broadcast the Reno Rodeo starting September 5th. Check out my TV Schedule for more info.

The Summer Tour continues to The Greeley Rocky Mountain Stampede another of my Top 12 Rodeos that every fan (this means you!), must see.
