California Circuit Champs

The California Circuit Finals Rodeo held in Norco, California (Jan. 15-16) have given out their awards to the best of the state circuit. Congratulations to all the competitors in my home circuit. I wish I could still be out on the California rodeo trail! Here they are:

• Bareback: Alex Meroshnekoff (of Penngrove, Ca.)
  
• Steer Wrestling: Trav Caldwell (of Oakdale,Ca.)
  
• Team Roping: Daniel Green (of Oakdale, Ca.) and Dugan Kelly (of Paso Robles, Ca.)
  
• Saddle Bronc: David Howard (of Fallon, Nv.)
  
• Tie-down Roping: Jesse Egan (of Martinez, Ca.)
  
• Barrel Racing: Kathy Bankston (of Gavilan Hills, Ca.)
  
• Bull Riding: Thomas Bert (of Modesto, Ca.)
  
  

Next stop for these competitors will be the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo (DNCFR) on March 16-19, 2005.
