Round 3 on Saturday night saw a National Finals Rodeo Rookie, Justin McDaniel, set a new arena record in the bareback riding. McDaniel rode J Bar J Ranch's Delta Ship for 91.5 points breaking the previous record of 91 points set previously by Will Lowe in 2002 on top of Big Stone Rodeo's Chester Bandit.
