Jim Shoulders’ 1956 Cheyenne Frontier Days Championship Saddle will be included in a live, online auction Sept. 12, presented by Daugherty Auction Services. While most of Shoulders’ championship saddles are in the possession of museums around the country, the whereabouts of this saddle had been unknown for years until it was discovered among the assets of a bank foreclosure.
