PRCA Bullfighter of the Year Award is Wide Open

The race for PRCA Bullfighter of the Year is wide open in 2008 because Joe Baumgartner, bullfighting legend, has not been nominated for a fifth time. The Bullfighter of the Year was added to the PRCA Year-End Awards in 2004 and every time since Baumgartner has won the vote. This year will see a new face crowned with the title. Who will it be?

The 5 nominees are:

• Cory Wall
• Darrell Diefenbach
• Kenneth Bergeron
• Michael Clay Collins
• Travis Lee Adams

This takes nothing away from Joe Baumgartner, who is a legend in his field, but it will be good to see someone else honored. The winner of Bullfighter of the Year (and all the other awards) will be announced at the awards ceremony on December 3rd at the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa.
