A Horrible Day at the Office

Saturday February 21, 2009
The top riders of the PBR only made 17 qualified rides in Round 1 of the Anaheim Invitational yesterday. That's less than half of the entered field (39 bull riders) and makes this round the second worst opening round at a Built Ford Tough Series event (the worst Round 1 had only 16 rides).

While this may be disappointing for the bull riders, for us fans it's a little exciting. The standings will definitely shuffle out after this event and it may be nice to see a few different names at the top of the leader boards. But one thing is for certain, you aren't going to keep guys like J.B. Mauney, Ryan Dirteater, and Mike Lee down for long. I predict they will be fired up and ready to ride at the next event.
