The Return of Dufus
Tuesday August 23, 2005
Trevor Brazile and his horse Dufus don't know the meaning of the word quit. The awesome team set arena records at both the Dodge City Roundup and the Caldwell Night Rodeo. Dufus tore it up after having foot problems for most of the year.
A little rest can do a horse good as evidenced in Kansas where the team broke the arena record with a 6.9 second run in the tie-down roping. At Caldwell, the record was broken with a 7.3 second run (the previous record of 7.6 was held by Fred Whitfield).
