Stevee Casey lives, breathes and bleeds all things rodeo. An active competitor for more than 20 years, she combines her passion of the sport with her extensive experience as an author to entice others to become rodeo super fans.
Stevee's infatuation with rodeo began before she could walk. Born into a family of rodeo competitors, Stevee won her first belt buckle at the tender age of 4. As she grew, so did her interest in this highly competitive sport. Stevee competed in local, regional and national rodeos through high school, eventually earning her permit and card to run in WRPA and PRCA events. Always the avid writer, Stevee combined her literary talents with her rough and tumble rodeo lifestyle to share her experiences with the world. She is a full-time writer, and has penned pieces for a variety of online and offline publications covering everything from proper conformation to event guidelines to selecting a winning barrel racing prospect.
By Stevee Casey:
Rodeo is a lifelong passion and is truly a sport for the entire family. Lifers and newbies alike will tell you there is no greater high than a successful run, and sharing that enthusiasm is what the sport is all about. My desire is to draw new enthusiasts into the sport and inform seasoned competitors of the whos, whats, and whys of what's happening in the worldwide arena that is rodeo.
