Interesting Facts:

Mike Moore was raised near Chicago, Illinois but always wanted to be a cowboy.
He went off to Wyoming for college and he got his chance. He graduated from the University of Wyoming with a BA in Elementary Education.

Going into the 2003 NFR Mike had a strong chance to win the buckle, but bad luck struck. He tore his biceps in the second round. Against doctor's advice, he stuck it out and ripped it more in the third round. Showing the extreme toughness of the rodeo cowboy, he kept going, determined to compete on all ten head. Bad luck struck again when he collapsed the arch of his foot.

Mike Moore went on to ride 3 of 10 bulls and put on one of the biggest shows of heart that I have ever seen. His desire to compete showed the true meaning of the phrase, 'Cowboy Up'.
