What?:

This PRCA and WPRA approved rodeo is part of the New ProRodeo Tour. This rodeo offers the standard rodeo events, a parade, a "Wild Ride," wild horse race and plenty of entertainment.

Who?:

As a tour stop the Round-Up brings in the best cowboys and stock. Local Stock contractor John Growney will stage the "running of the bucking horses" down main street to kick off Round-Up week in Red Bluff.

Highlights:

Red Bluff loves its rodeo and offers rodeo fans plenty to do including:

  • A cowboy meet and greet with a great chance to meet some of your favorite contestants.
  • The "Wild Ride" where the top 8 cowboys compete in crazy costumes and is a fan favorite.
  • Rodeo Parade on Saturday
  • Golf Tournament
  • Great food including a Chili Cook-Off and BBQ
  • Quality rockin' entertainment
History:

The first rodeo was held in 1918 as a gathering for local ranchers after spring round up. The rodeo has grown tremendously and has turned into the excellent circuit stop that it is today.

Extras:

The Round-Up also has a Rodeo Museum that highlights the history of the Red Bluff Round-Up and includes items from past rodeos.
