The California Rodeo in Salinas, also known locally as "Big Week," is one of California's best rodeos. Since 1911, cowboys have been coming to this prestigious rodeo to get an authentic taste of rural California. California Rodeo Salinas is the fourth stop on the Wrangler ProRodeo Summer Tour, the second half of the PRCA's premier 12-city series of rodeos that culminates in the ProRodeo Tour Summer Finale in September (28-30).
