It was Canadian Night at the National Finals Rodeo and the fans from up North were vocal and proud. They love their cowboys and cowgirls.
Bareback Riding:
Will Lowe made another great ride and has placed in every single round. Give the guy his buckle now. Ryan Gray was introduced to the Nevada dirt in a spectacular fashion with a somersault courtesy of Dusty Dan. Gray was then stepped on adding insult to injury.

Lee Graves didn't disappoint his Canadian fans, taking home the Round 8 buckle, with a time of 3.5 seconds.

Team Roping:
The team roping once again got ugly with plenty of one-foot catches and no-times. Matt Sherwood and Walt Woodard made a devastating miss that will take them out of the average race while Chad Masters and Allen Bach worked it out.

Saddle Bronc Riding:
J.J. Elshere is 8 for 8 and continues his solid run at the finals. Billy Etbauer has won the most money so far, which shouldnt surprise anyone. Cody DeMoss came down hard on his back courtesy of Coffee Bean.

Tie-down Roping:
Cody Ohl has placed in 6 of 7 rounds and is dominating the roping. Clint Robinson has come alive in the later rounds after deciding to use one of Fred Whitfield's horses. He's placed in the last two rounds.

Barrel Racing:
Brittany Pozzi changed horsed from Stitch to Potato Chip in order to get something done and it worked out with a split of third. Lindsay Sears had some bad luck and broke the pattern. Terra Bynum also had some trouble going extremely wide on the first barrel.
The night belonged to Brandie Halls however, when she made a blazing run and set a New Arena Record of 13.52, breaking the previous record of 13.58 that was set by Kelly Maben in Round 6.

Bull Riding:
The bulls were nasty and difficult in this round with several bull riders having trouble getting out of the chutes and getting re-rides before they even hit the arena.
