By Ralph Clark, About.com

As the rounds are put behind the cowboys and cowgirls, the injured list grows. Rodeo is tough sport and 10-days straight is almost more than a body can take. But nothing sooths those aches and pains better than prize money and a chance to take a gold buckle back home.

Tie-down roper Fred Whitfield has a pinched nerve in his neck.

Bull rider Wesley Silcox has a torn rotator cuff.

Bareback rider Chad Klein is competing with a torn ACL.

Injuries during/before Round 6:

Steer Wrestler Dru Melvin dislocated his shoulder during the round. It will require surgery after the NFR.
