Enterprise Rent-A-Car Invitational Results
February 22-24, 2008St. Louis, MO.
Stop number nine on the Built Ford Tough Series live from St. Louis, Missouri.
It was like a party in Brazil over the weekend in St. Louis with the Brazilian contingent of the PBR taking fist, second and third place at the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Invitational.
Renato Nunes was the man of the hour however, besting his compatriots with 359.50 total points over Robson Palermo's 357.50.
"I am in the United States to win money. It's an honor to win an event with this much money to take home to Brazil," said Nunes.
Not only did Nunes win the event, but he made perhaps one of the most memorable rides of the season so far on the awesome bull Chicken on a Chain, and scored a whopping 95.75 points.
"I picked the best bull in the world today," said Nunes. "He's a good bull. I always pick a big bull for a big score. This is the best prize in the world." (Quotes Courtesy PBR)
It looks like that this season just might turn out to be the year of the Brazilians.
