The innovative Wrangler ProRodeo Tour was developed in 2000 as a showcase for the top competitors and rodeos in the PRCA. This is the second year of the ProRodeo Tour's new shape with a year long 26-stop tour (5 more rodeos added in 2008) instead of being diving into two sections as in previous years.

At the conclusion of the ProRodeo Tour, 4 Playoff Rodeos (Tour Championships) will follow. Only the Tour Championships will be televised this year.

2008 Wrangler ProRodeo Tour Schedule:

• January 4-12 SandHills Stock Show and Rodeo (Event Results) in Odessa, TX.
• January 12-27 National Western Stock Show and Rodeo (Event Results) in Denver, CO.
• Jan. 31 - Feb. 3 Black Hills Stock Show and Rodeo (Event Results) in Rapid City, SD.
  
  
• February 1-16 San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo (Event Results) in San Antonio, TX.
• Feb. 16-24 La Fiesta de Los Vaqueros (Event Results) in Tuscon, AZ.
• Feb. 21 - Mar. 1 San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo (Event Results) in San Angleo, TX.
  
  
• March 3-15 Rodeo Austin (Event Results) in Austin, TX.
• March 27-30 Laughlin River Stampede (Event Results) in Laughlin, NV.
  
  
• April 4-12 Grand National Rodeo (Event Results) in San Francisco, CA.
• April 10-13 Clark County Fair and Rodeo (Event Results) in Logandale, NV.
• April 18-20 Red Bluff Round-Up in Red Bluff, CA.
• April 24-27 Buc Days ProRodeo in Corpus Christi, TX.

• May 2-4 Guymon Pioneer Days in Guymon, OK.
  
  
• June 19-28 Reno Rodeo in Reno, NV.
• June 25 - July 6 Greeley Independence Day Stampede in Greeley, CO.
• June 30 - July 5 World's Oldest Rodeo in Prescott, AZ.

The Tour concludes with the ProRodeo Playoffs, a 4-rodeo series that determines the tour champions.
