Taos Muncy Won't Repeat in the Saddle Bronc

Wednesday August 13, 2008
The 2007 World Champion Saddle Bronc Rider, Taos Muncy, of Corona, New Mexico, will most likely not repeat the feat of winning the World Championship this year. Muncy, who won the top title in his rookie year, injured himself in the Wild Ride at the Red Bluff Roundup in April. Best case scenario would be a return in September but it would be against medical advice.

About Rodeo's advice (hold on to your lids) is don't rush it. You've won the World Championship in your first year of membership with the PRCA. You have plenty of years ahead of you to win the World Championship again. Your fans will wait for a full recovery. Of course we know that sitting on the sidelines won't pay the bills, so the choice is ultimately yours - be smart cowboy!
