- Rodeo King and the Senorita (1951)- Starring: Rex Allen, Mary Ellen Kay. Republic Pictures 'B' western.
- The Lusty Men (1952)- Starring: Robert Mitchum, Susan Hayward.
- Arena (1953)- Starring: Gig Young, Jean Hagen. MGM's first 3D production.
1960's
- Stoney Burke (1963)- Starring: Jack Lord. TV series that comes well reviewed.
- The Rounders (1965)- Starring: Glenn Ford, Henry Fonda. Casey Tibbs, legendary real-life bronc rider is listed in the credits! Also inspired a TV series.
1970's
- J.W. Coop (1972)- Starring: Cliff Robertson, Geraldine Page. Larry Mahan plays himself in this movie.
- Junior Bonner (1972)- Starring: Steve McQueen, Robert Preston.
- The Electric Horseman (1979)- Starring: Robert Redford, Jane Fonda.
1980's
- Rodeo Girl (1980)- Starring: Katharine Ross, Bo Hopkins. TV movie based on a true story.
- Stir Crazy (1980)- Starring: Gene Wilder, Richard Pryor. I guess this qualifies as a rodeo film?
1990's
- My Heros Have Always Been Cowboys (1991)- Starring: Scott Glenn, Kate Capshaw.
- The Cowboy Way (1994)- Starring: Woody Harrelson, Kiefer Sutherland.
- Everything That Rises (1998)- Starring: Dennis Quaid.
- Ruby Jean and Joe (1996) - Starring: Tom Seleck, Rebekah Johnson
- 8 Seconds (1994)- Starring: Luke Perry, Stephen Baldwin.
- Colorado Cowboy: The Bruce Ford Story (1994)- Great documentary on the rodeo life.
2000's
- Cowboy Up! (2001)- Starring: Kiefer Sutherland, Daryl Hannah.
