Reno Rodeo Cattle Drive

The Reno Rodeo is a must see and is on my Top 12 Rodeos List. It's an award winning PRCA and WPRA Rodeo (part of the Wrangler Summer Tour) with plenty of activities to enjoy.

The Reno Rodeo is the 3rd largest PRCA tour rodeo. It's a big rodeo with a small town mind set and you can't help but have an excellent time at this rodeo.

Top cowboys and cowgirls always hit this event. Participants have included Fred Whitfield, Dan Mortensen, Trevor Brazile, and many more.

Stock will be provided by the great Cotton Rosser and Julio Moreno from Flying U Rodeo Company.

Reno is a world-class resort destination in its own right and the Reno Rodeo adds its own flavor with:

The Reno Rodeo has been bucking out for 87 years and there is no sign of it slowing down. Started in 1919 by community leaders, it has grown into the great powerhouse of rodeo that it is today, attracting top cowboys and offering top prizes that truly make this rodeo the "Wildest, Richest Rodeo In The West!"

The Reno Rodeo Grounds are located within minutes of downtown Reno, where you can enjoy first class hotels and casinos.

Speaking from personal experience, I really love this area of Nevada and Reno is first class for fun and excitement.

The Reno Rodeo is a non-profit group, dedicated to keeping the history and grandeur of rodeo alive. They put on this rodeo with the help of 550 volunteers and over 120,000 fans who enjoy every minute of the exciting action in beautiful Reno, Nevada.

They have given back to the community in excess of 1 million dollars in the form of scholarships, children's charities, high school rodeo, literacy programs, and much, much more.
