It's an award winning PRCA and WPRA Rodeo (part of the Wrangler Summer Tour) with plenty of activities to enjoy. Who?: Top cowboys and cowgirls always hit this event. Participants have included Fred Whitfield, Dan Mortensen, Trevor Brazile, and many more. History: The Reno Rodeo has been bucking out for 87 years and there is no sign of it slowing down. Started in 1919 by community leaders, it has grown into the great powerhouse of rodeo that it is today, attracting top cowboys and offering top prizes that truly make this rodeo the "Wildest, Richest Rodeo In The West!" The Reno Rodeo is a non-profit group, dedicated to keeping the history and grandeur of rodeo alive. They put on this rodeo with the help of 550 volunteers and over 120,000 fans who enjoy every minute of the exciting action in beautiful Reno, Nevada. |
